Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Plans are underway for Albuquerque’s annual Freedom 4th celebration. The event takes place July 4 at Balloon Fiesta Park, running from 3 to 10 p.m. Organizers say the highlight this year will be a performance by WAR, the band behind “Low Rider” and other well-known songs. The evening will also feature local music, a Fourth of July ceremony, and a fireworks finale. Families can enjoy activities like inflatables and face painting, along with food from local vendors. City officials say the event is free and open to the public, with transportation and parking options available.
