Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The trial is set to begin today for the man accused of killing a beloved local Little League umpire. Dustin Zumwalt is accused of running a red light at Menaul and Eubank and crashing into Terry Dolan’s car in August of 2024. Dolan died in the crash. The trial was set to begin in April pending a possible deal in the case however Zumwalt rejected the deal leading to the new trail date. Dolan was a beloved umpire, mentor and longtime volunteer at Roadrunner Little League. A field has since been named in his honor.
