ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A local distillery says it’s dealing with an unexpected setback just as it prepares to open a new location.
Hollow Spirits Distillery reports that approximately 100 feet of steel fencing was stolen overnight from its site on Eubank Boulevard. Owners say the missing fencing has left the property exposed during a critical stage of preparations ahead of the opening.
The business says the theft represents a significant financial loss and has created temporary security concerns at the site. Hollow Spirits is asking for the public’s help, encouraging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to come forward with information.
Despite the incident, the company says it plans to move ahead with opening plans and will not allow the theft to delay progress on the new location.
The situation remains under investigation.
