Albuquerque – An Arizona man is in custody after he tried to sell 10,000 Fentanyl pills to an Isleta Pueblo undercover officer.
According to court documents, Daron Andrey Holmes Jr, tried to sell the pills to the officer after making a connection via social media. The officer and Holmes agreed to meet at the Isleta Resort and Casino on October 29th to make the deal, and that’s when Holmes was arrested.
A K-9 search also alerted agents from several federal law enforcement agencies to find over 4,000 thousand Fentanyl pills and a large amount of cash inside his car. Holmes is now charged with possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl and will remain in custody pending trial.
