Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A larger presence of monsoon moisture will be increasing in New Mexico and the Albuquerque area. Several days of rainfall and even flash flooding will begin as of Tuesday with best possibility of rainfall between Tuesday and Friday along with cooler temperatures. Highs in Albuquerque will drop to lower 80s by later this week. 
Higher elevations will see showers and heavy rain which will extend to other portions of Central New Mexico according to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque.
