Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque Police continue their investigation into a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that happened Wednesday afternoon in Northeast Albuquerque. The incident happened just before noon on the 6200 block of Sonrisa Place NE near San Pedro.
The victim, a woman, was taken to the hospital where she later died. So far the initial investigation has determined that the driver of a Ford truck was dropping off two passengers at that address and did not make a complete stop and then ran over one of the passengers and crashed into a nearby home.
The investigation into the fatal accident is still ongoing.
