BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Voters in Bernalillo County will have an additional option to cast their ballots this weekend as the County Clerk’s Office brings a Mobile Voting Unit to International Fest on Saturday.
The unit will be set up at Phil Chacon Park, located at 7600 Southern Blvd. SE, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will offer both early voting and same-day voter registration on the final day of early voting ahead of the June 2 primary election.

International Fest, which runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., is hosted by County Commissioner Adriann Barboa and Albuquerque City Councilor Nichole Rogers and celebrates the International District’s diverse community.
County officials say voters attending the event will be able to cast a ballot without leaving the festival. Outreach staff from the Clerk’s Office will also be on-site to answer questions and provide voting information.
In addition to the mobile site, 20 other early voting locations across Bernalillo County will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The June 2 primary is the first in New Mexico to operate under a semi-open system, allowing voters without a party affiliation to choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot without updating their registration. Same-day registration is also available at voting locations during early voting and on Election Day.
Election Day is Tuesday, June 2, with all Voting Convenience Centers open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
More information, including voting and drop box locations, is available at BerncoClerk.gov or by calling (505) 243-VOTE.
