Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The YMCA is now on the westside of Albuquerque. A brand new facility recently opened its doors to Albuquerque’s westside community with 20,000 square feet of space designed for various levels of fitness and community activity. YMCA of Central NM’s President and CEO, Roberto Aguirre, said “For years, Westside families have expressed the need for a YMCA close to home. Thanks to community support and partnership, we’re turning that vision into reality. The Westside YMCA will strengthen our mission of building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.” The new facility is located behind Cottonwood Mall at Coors and Seven Bar Loop. A grand opening is planned for this Saturday.
