Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Residents in Mora and San Miguel counties whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon fires and flooding will soon have a place to connect with state and community partners. A disaster recovery support center will open in Las Vegas on Wednesday. Called, The Building Resiliency Center it’s a one-stop, in person resource for support with the permitting process for reconstruction, one-on-one disaster case management and help with navigating recovery resources and services. The facility is located at 601 E. Lincoln St in Las Vegas.
