Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – APD homicide detectives are investigating a shooting where a woman was shot in the area of Vermont and Central ave near UNM. This was the second shooting in the area in a 24-hour period.
The shooting happened Thursday around noon. The woman was found shot and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, APD took suspects into custody yesterday afternoon in connection the overnight murder of a man who was shot in an alleyway between Cornell Dr. and Stanford Ave, just south of Central Ave also near UNM.
An arrest warrant is currently sealed and additional details will not be released while the investigation is on-going.
