Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – APD’s fatal traffic Unit is investigating an accident that happened in the intersection of Lomas and Juan Tabo NE early Wednesday morning. The crash involved a vehicle that hit a male pedestrian just after 5:00 a.m. on Lomas just west of Juan Tabo and was taken to the hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries.
APD is also investigating another accident that happened Tuesday night in a parking lot on the 4300 block of Montgomery Blvd NE, where a woman riding a scooter was killed APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos reports that officers arrived on the scene of a crash in a parking lot just before 10 p.m. to find the victim had been struck and died on the scene. The driver of a Chevrolet Malibu remained on the scene after the accident and the investigation continues.
