Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Six people were displaced after a fire damaged two mobile homes in southeast Albuquerque Thursday night. Albuquerque Fire Rescue says crews were called to a mobile home park along Utah Street SE just before 10 p.m., after multiple reports of homes on fire and possible people trapped. When firefighters arrived, they confirmed two mobile homes were involved heavy flames and smoke showing. Crews searched both structures and did not locate any victims.

Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control within about 19 minutes of arriving. A total of forty-three firefighters and eighteen units responded to the call. The Red Cross is now assisting those who were displaced. Fire investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
