Scratch Tom Udall’s name from the list of potential candidates for New Mexico Governor in 2018. Udall has decided not to run saying his seniority in the US Senate is too important for New Mexico.
UNM Political Science Professor Lonna Atkeson says that clears the field for other potential candidates to get into the race like Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham and Attorney General Hector Balderas.
