NEW MEXICO — Voters across New Mexico will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, to decide a wide range of federal, statewide, and legislative races.
At the top of the ballot is the race for governor, where Democrat Deb Haaland, the former U.S. secretary of the interior, faces Republican Greggory Hull, the former mayor of Rio Rancho. The winner will succeed term-limited Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
New Mexico voters will also decide the U.S. Senate contest between incumbent Democrat Ben Ray Luján and Republican challenger Larry Marker.
All three of New Mexico’s congressional districts are on the ballot:
- District 1: Melanie Stansbury vs. Ndidiamaka “Didi” Okpareke
- District 2: Gabriel Vasquez vs. Gregory Cunningham
- District 3: Teresa Leger Fernández vs. Martin Zamora
Other statewide races include contests for secretary of state, attorney general, state auditor, state treasurer, and commissioner of public lands.
In addition to candidate races, voters will consider constitutional amendments, bond questions, legislative contests, and judicial retention elections.
Election Day polling locations are open statewide from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ballots cast by mail must be received by county clerks by the close of polls Tuesday.
