Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Federal authorities are investigating a reported threat against law enforcement personnel along the Texas-Mexico border. According to an internal alert obtained by DHS sources, a known human smuggler is believed to be planning to bring migrants from Colombia and Venezuela into the United States. Officials say the operation may be intended to target or kidnap U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel in the Presidio and El Paso areas.
