Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man on fire, who was walking at 7:11 p.m. Aug. 23rd in the area of County Roads 5500 and 5468 near U.S. 64 east of Farmington. When deputies arrived, Ty Reynolds reportedly was disoriented but able to tell law enforcement the names of his mother and father. Upon arrival at the home officers found a smoldering hoodie on the front porch. Investigators also discovered “a red 5-gallon gas can” that “was tipped upside down.” There was also “fresh gasoline on the carpet”, along with a container of “Zippo” lighter fluid. In addition, multiple “unsecured” firearms were located inside of the residence. This included “multiple 9 mm handguns,” a .22 revolver, and two 12-gauge shotguns, one of which had “a 37 mm launcher attached to it. Also located were multiple pieces of burned clothing and skin at the scene. Reynolds, was flown to Denver for burn treatment, as there were “2nd and 3rd degree burns over most of his body. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
