Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A former Motel 6 in Los Alamos is getting a new lease on life. The Trinity Ridge Co-Living group plans to convert the space into approximately 70 furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments, according to a news release, marketing them as extended-stay workforce accommodations. The units will be marketed as move in-ready housing for professionals and other white-collar workers in Los Alamos, which long has struggled to meet the housing needs of staff members at Los Alamos National Laboratory and other employers. Renovation of the property is expected to take nine months, meaning the complex should be open for business by the early summer of 2027
