Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The man arrested for dismantling and damaging several Flock license plate reader cameras and posting it on social media is now out of jail. 44-year old Jevon Martinez was arrested by BCSO deputies outside downtown headquarters when he said he was returning the cameras to the sheriff’s office after Sheriff Allen had announced the county was no longer going to use them and cancelling the contract with Flock. 10 cameras were damaged but only 2 were part of the county’s cameras.
In June, Rio Rancho police charged Martinez with damaging Flock cameras.
He is facing 10 charges for damaging property, and larceny. He is also accused of several other crimes and a long criminal history since 2003.
