Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez says state agencies sidestepped legally required procedures to accommodate Project Jupiter, the data center being built in Santa Teresa.
Torrez says he supports two emergency petitions now before the State Supreme Court, Torrez said the New Mexico Department of Justice has filed responses supporting the petitions, which challenge permitting decisions involving water use and air quality for Project Jupiter.

The NM DOJ is also supporting a stay by the court involving the air permit for the project’s proposed power plant by the NM Environment Department citing the hearing officer moved dates, denied discovery without justification.
