SANTA FE, N.M. — New Mexico Department of Health public health offices and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.
State officials say all offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
While offices will be closed for the holiday, the NMDOH Helpline will remain available during regular business hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The helpline, 1-833-SWNURSE (1-833-796-8773), is staffed by nurses who can answer health-related questions, help connect residents with healthcare resources, and provide support in both English and Spanish. Residents can also text 66364 (NMDOH) for assistance.
The Department of Health says the helpline can also assist with vaccination records and help schedule vaccine appointments for both adults and children.
Officials encourage residents who need Department of Health services to plan ahead for the holiday closure.
