Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – New Mexico State Police are investigating an accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian Wednesday morning. The accident happened on I-25 at Avenida Cesar Chavez just after 2 a.m.
The initial report indicates that the pedestrian was trying to cross the freeway when they were hit by a vehicle on the southbound lanes of I-25.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene and the vehicle did remain at the location of the accident.
