Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of a heavily armed man walking in the area of Ventana Ranch on Monday. The man was seen wearing all black clothing, a ballistic vest and carrying a rifle slung across his body, a handgun on his hip and a large knife. He was seen walking through the area and attempting to change or manipulate multiple residential security cameras. There were no reports of the subject pointing a rifle at anyone. Deputies are investigating and trying to locate the man. Residents in the area are asked not to approach or engage with him if he’s seen in the area again and should call 911.
