Belen, NM (KKOB) – A Valencia County couple are in jail this morning after a months long investigation and search of their residence Thursday on the 300 block of North 12th street in Belen. Valencia County Sheriff’s, Belen PD and other agencies participated and arrested Jose Rivera and Tamra Lente. Agents also confiscated, 212 grams of fentanyl, 22 grams of powdered fentanyl, 16 grams of methamphetamine, 28 suboxone strips, several firearms, accessories, and ammunition. Tamra Lente was charged with Child Abuse and Conspiracy to Commit Child Abuse. Jose Rivera was charged with Child Abuse, Conspiracy to Commit Child Abuse, and several other charges related to drugs and weapons possession.
