Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Strong to locally damaging winds are expected today across the Albuquerque metro area into eastern NM and through the gaps of the central mountain chain. Hazardous crosswinds over 60 mph, poor visibility due to blowing dust, and unsecured items being blown around will be the primary hazards. Tree limbs could be blown down increasing the chances of power outages.
