Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Six cattle producers from Chihuahua, Mexico visited New Mexico as part of a multi-state trade mission focused on U.S. beef genetics. The trip was organized by the New Mexico and Kansas Departments of Agriculture and featured an all-women delegation. During the visit, the group toured ranches, attended a bull sale, and discussed breeding and export requirements with local producers. State officials say the mission could lead to future cattle genetics purchases and expanded trade.
