Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The state’s Economic Development Department has launched a new online tool that show’s the state’s site-readiness program. It’s designed to attract out of state companies by preparing land so that it’s shovel ready for development. The map shows 47 sites across NM detailing size, price, utilities available, ownership, and what if any further renovations are needed. Fourteen sites are currently available in the metro including over 1,000 acres at the Double Eagle II airport. The program has already attracted one company to NM, EDD spokesperson Chris Chaffin says Amazon plans to open a location in Roswell.
