Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The lawsuit filed by former Albuquerque firefighter Aden Heyman has been dismissed. Heyman was fired when he was charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a party in 2023, but a jury acquitted him last year. His lawsuit said that after Heyman lost his job, Albuquerque Fire Rescue Chief Emily Jaramillo issued a public statement implying he was guilty. Heyman claims that it damaged his reputation. Tuesday, Judge Joshua Allison dismissed the case, arguing that there weren’t sufficient grounds for the claims.
