Las Cruces, NM (KKOB) – The minimum wage in Las Cruces is going up again next year.
Beginning January 1st, workers within city limits must be paid at least $13.47 an hour, up from the current rate of $13.01. The minimum wage for tipped employees will also increase to $5.39 an hour. City officials say the annual adjustment is based on inflation and a review of state wage requirements.
The increase means workers in Las Cruces will continue earning more than New Mexico’s statewide minimum wage, which remains $12 an hour.
