An opinion column appeared in the New York Times this week titled “Goodbye Albuquerque, Land of Violence”. It was written by a former resident who’s moved to Nebraska saying Albuquerque is unsafe and a dangerous place to live. We continue to talk about our city and state’s reputation for crime, education and economic outlook because they seem to be the centerpiece for limiting our progress.
