ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) The University of New Mexico is set to unveil its new tennis stadium. UNM has scheduled a grand Thursday opening for the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium near The Pit. The school hopes the six sunken stadium courts, with TV-quality lights and a large electronic scoreboard, will be a boost for the university's tennis team.
The McKinnon Center, which will seat around 1,000 fans, comes courtesy of a $1.2 million donation that is part of a $7.5 million gift to the university.
