SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) Santa Fe police are identifying a man whose death they call suspicious. Police say the man who died was 74-year-old Larry Roybal but say they're waiting for autopsy results to determine cause of his death. Roybal was found dead in his home late Wednesday after concerned family members contacted police about Roybal, who last was seen Monday.
Roybal was a part-time retail clerk who lived alone in a three-bedroom home that had belonged to his mother. He didn't go to work on Tuesday and his home appeared to have been ransacked but police are not saying whether anything is missing.
Police shut down traffic in the area around the home while crime scene technicians and detectives collected evidence and other information. The closure lasted for about 22 hours.
