Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Sunday, February 14, 2021, all City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Facilities will be closed due to winter weather conditions in the Albuquerque metro area. This includes all city pools, open spaces, recreational facilities, and golf courses.
Elena Gallegos Open Space will be closed at least until 11 am, through the blizzard warning, but may remain closed all day. All other trailheads in the Sandia Foothills are closed.
Parks are open for use, but residents are encouraged to use caution as snow, ice and freezing temperatures may be present.
