Deaths determined to be murder-suicide

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — An APD investigation into the death of two individuals discovered in a residence on February 1st, has determined it was likely a murder-suicide. Officers in the Foothills Area Command arrived on scene. They entered the home in the 10400 block of Constitution Ave., N.E. where they discovered the deceased bodies of a male and female. The female later identified as 67 year old Maria Shroyer. The male, identified as 38 year old Robert Shroyer III, Maria’s son. An Office of the Medical Investigator autopsy determined Maria Shroyer died as a result of a homicide, and Robert’s death deemed a suicide.
