POLICE: PARENT GROUP PRESIDENT-ELECT PULLED GUN

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) A parent association president-elect is facing charges after authorities say she pulled a gun on an Albuquerque cable guy. KRQE-TV reports that Gloria Baca-Lucero was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon this week following a bizarre encounter with a Comcast worker.

According to police, the Comcast worker came out to install Baca-Lucero's cable after she moved into a new home. But authorities say she got angry when she found she would be charged. She told police the Comcast worker wouldn't leave, so she pointed a gun in the air. But the worker says she pointed it at his torso as he tried to retrieve his tools.

Baca-Lucero is scheduled to be the parent association president at Manzano Day School.
It was not known if she had an attorney.
