ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) The Pit, home of the University of New Mexico's men's and women's basketball teams, has announce it will no longer serve green chile this season. The stadium announced on social media Tuesday that a major recall is forcing officials to pull all green chile and they do not know when the chile will return.
A family-owned food company in Albuquerque announced earlier this month a voluntarily recall of its frozen noneady-to-eat green chile products. Bueno Foods say the products have the potential to contain low levels of the common bacteria Listeria monocytogenes in its uncooked state.
Bueno Foods has been located in Albuquerque since 1951.
