A document prepared for Farmington's search for a new police chief lists alcohol and its use by Navajos as among top concerns facing the city's eventual choice. The Daily Times reports the document cites the frequency of drunk driving and public intoxication and notes that the nearby Navajo reservation is “dry.'' Executive Director Leonard Gorman of the Navajo Human Rights Commission says the document's language is insensitive.
