Vandals Strike PNM

A power interruption late Saturday night in Albuquerque lasted only about half-a-second but that was enough to set off alarms and force customers to reset appliances. And now PNM says it was caused by vandals who damaged some electrical equipment at a substation. Spokeswoman Meaghan Cavanaugh says they’re now trying to determine who did it.…MORE

New Baby at the Biopark

The Albuquerque Biopark’s Zoo has a new resident. It’s a baby boy giraffe, born Monday to June, the zoo’s 23-year-old giraffe who’s been at the zoo 22 years.
