More Cases of Coronavirus in New Mexico

(Albuquerque)-A dozen more New Mexicans have died from coronavirus, bringing the state’s death toll to 231.  More than 53-hundred people have now tested positive for the virus, with 155 new cases reported on Wednesday. Santa Fe School Budget Expected to Shrink

Medical Chopper Temporarily Banned from UNM Hospital

(Albuquerque)-The helicopter from the San Juan Regional Medical Center in northwestern New Mexico is banned from landing at University Hospital for 10 days.  The Albuquerque Journal reports UNM Hospital has the only level-1 trauma center in New Mexico. Closures Extended for Navajo Nation

(Albuquerque)-Coronavirus will have the Navajo Nation closed longer than expected.  It was to reopen this coming Sunday but has now extended its closure until June 7th.  Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez says this is not the time to reopen even though Arizona and others are reopening restaurants and other businesses. Lumberton Wildfire Grows

(Albuquerque)-The Lumberton fire in Rio Arriba County is now 30-percent contained.
