With the increase in moisture recently in New Mexico, National Weather Service Meteorologist Chuck Jones says it’s almost like we’re in a monsoon pattern. And Jones tells News Radio KKOB that could be a good sign for when the monsoon season actually begins in a few weeks.
Jones tells News Radio KKOB the month of May will be remembered for a bout of severe weather on the eighth and ninth- one of the largest and longest duration outbreaks of severe weather ever recorded in New Mexico.
