Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Actor Alec Baldwin filed suit Thursday against the Santa Fe prosecutor who sought to blame him for the 2021 shooting death of a cinematographer on the set of the movie “Rust.” The suit claims Special prosecutor Kari Morrissey tried to make him the scapegoat for the death of Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin was found not guilty of manslaughter in a later lawsuit.. The case was refiled and dismissed. The actor also names law enforcement in his suit for violating his civil rights.
