ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Two of New Mexico’s most recognizable brands are teaming up once again for the 7th Annual Meow Wolf Night, bringing together soccer, art, music, and fan celebrations at Rio Grande Credit Union Field.
The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, when New Mexico United hosts Sacramento Republic FC.
What began as a local collaboration has grown into one of the club’s most popular annual events, featuring exclusive merchandise, entertainment, and interactive fan experiences.
Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. with an expanded Fan Fest featuring:
- Live music and DJ performances
- Face painting and caricature artists
- Roving entertainers
- A mini soccer pitch
- Fan flag creation stations
Organizers are encouraging fans to arrive in costume for the annual contest.
This year’s costume contest includes:
🥇 First Place: $1,000
🥈 Second Place: $500
🥉 Third Place: $250
Contest entries must be submitted between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., with winners announced during halftime.
The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive complimentary admission to Meow Wolf Santa Fe.
At 6 p.m., a live marching band will lead fans in a “March to the Match” before kickoff.
The evening will also feature a ceremonial first kick by Meow Wolf mascot Snaggy and a game-ball presentation by artist Nathan Sparks, who designed this year’s limited-edition Meow Wolf Night jersey.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
As part of the partnership, Meow Wolf Santa Fe will also host a 21-and-over Adulti-Verse: NM United Night on Sept. 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event will feature United-themed activities, giveaways, and opportunities for fans to explore Meow Wolf’s exhibits while showing support for the club.
