Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Firefighters continue their efforts on the lightening caused Whiskey Fire that is now 380 acres in size. The fire is north of Osha Peak, south of Capilla Peak and west of the Manzano Crest Trail in the Manzano Mountain Wilderness. A more proactive approach to the fire is planned in the coming days forcing officials to close roads and trails that surround the area of the fire. That order will be in effect until the end of September.
