Albuquerque police are reminding pedestrians to pay attention to vehicles in the roadway even if they have the right of way. This, in the wake of two fatalities involving pedestrians at two separate locations Monday. APD Officer Fred Duran says the first occurred around 5:40 PM at 12th and Indian School. The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died. No charges will be filed against the driver. The second fatality happened at Aveneda Cesar Chavez and University at 8:39 PM. That victim also died at the hospital. The investigation continues.
