Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Plans for a potential new Border Patrol station in Las Cruces are in the early review stage. CBP has asked city leaders for input on three possible locations within city limits, according to a letter dated March fourth. The agency says it is gathering information from local and state agencies that could be affected by the project. In a statement, the City of Las Cruces says it is not aware of any construction plans at this time but will respond to CBP’s request regarding possible environmental impacts
