A group of juveniles that began “tagging” buildings along central avenue about two years ago has taken their criminal activity to a higher level. APD Lt. Michelle Campbell says they’re arrogant and know the courts won’t touch them because of their age.
Se says one person involved in a recent car-jacking illustrates the attitude of the these teens. She says the boy kept telling officers they couldn’t arrest him because he was a minor.
She says, in many cases, they’re arrested then released the same day where they then quickly return to criminal activity.
