A big road improvement project is underway on Albuquerque’s west side. The work will include new bike lanes and landscaping on Ladera Drive between Ouray and Coors. City officials say the bike lanes will be constructed by narrowing the existing median.
A traffic signal will be installed at Ladera Drive and Sequoia Road, and there will also be storm drainage improvement. Plus, the section of Ladera that turns into St. Josephs will go from one to two lanes in both directions.
The $3 Million project is expected to be completed by next year.
