Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Albuquerque police have identified a suspect they say is responsible for stealing the “Patriot” globito from a Balloon fiesta warehouse on Thanksgiving. According to court documents an anonymous tipster recognized Jesse Sanchez from surveillance footage indicating Sanchez’ distinctive limp and tattoos. A dog seen in the footage is also said to be the same dog seen in a different crime scene, a US Eagle Credit Union on Juan Tabo where Sanchez is accused of check fraud in that incident. Sanchez is not yet in custody. The balloon is valued at $8,000 to 10,000 dollars.
