Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A new city park is coming to the Crestview Bluff neighborhood. The vacant lot near Old Coors and Gonzales roads was the subject of discussion by city leaders Thursday as part of Albuquerque’s 10 minute walk initiative, a national program promoting access to open spaces within a 10 minute walk of all residents. The Crestview Bluffs Park is in an area with one of the largest remaining gaps. The $3.5 million park will sit on an acre of land and have a full sized basketball court, a bike path, and a play area. The park is in the design phase and the city is accepting feedback on the draft plan.
