Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Verus Research, an Albuquerque-based defense contractor acquired by Radiance Technologies, has won two major contracts from the U.S. Navy. The deals total nearly $13 million and will fund technology to help ships withstand electromagnetic pulses and improve radio frequency testing. The company says the work includes building sensors for simulations and hardware that can be deployed on drones. Verus CEO Grady Patterson says the contracts highlight the firm’s ongoing presence in New Mexico.
