Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Crime Stoppers founder Greg MacAleese has died. He was 78 and passed away November 3rd due to complications from a heart attack. MacAleese created the program in 1976 while working as an Albuquerque police officer to help investigators solve cases. Crime Stoppers now spans the U.S. and many countries. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
